History
Pecan Valley Coffee was the brand name of the product made by the Walker-Smith Co. of Brownwood. They roasted coffee in 1907. It is also the name of our establishment.
That this name was chosen for our business was a lucky coincidence. After our owners began advertising for the new business, David Cole of Bangs, who is an avid collector of local historical items, told them about the first Pecan Valley Coffee. The 100 year old coffee labels were incorperated into the decor. Authintic labels are framed on the walls of the store.
